Public scan limitations
Start with a fast public preview, then unlock deeper catalog diagnostics, evidence reports and Shopify-backed workflows when your team is ready to move. Public scans may miss private feeds, metafields, variants, collection rules, app-generated markup or pages blocked by robots.txt, network rules or storefront architecture. CatalogWise records blocked or unavailable evidence as a limitation and should not imply that inaccessible content was analyzed.
External data source limitations
PageSpeed, Shopify, feed, AI provider and other external signals may be unavailable, delayed, rate-limited or differently scoped than the merchant expects. CatalogWise labels fallback, locked and provider setup states instead of presenting missing integrations as real evidence.
Deep Access limitations
Optional Deep Access can unlock deeper catalog diagnostics after merchant approval, but results still depend on data quality, API access, platform availability and the scope granted by the merchant.
AI assistance
OpenAI-compatible analysis may help structure findings and recommendations. It is not a substitute for technical validation, legal review, platform policy review or human implementation judgment.

Merchants and agencies remain responsible for checking recommendations before applying schema, product data, feed, FAQ, policy or content changes.
